JAMMU, Nov 7: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has appealed to the Prime Minister and Union Law Minister to not to transfer land registration power to the Revenue Department.
In a press conference here today JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple extended support to the Bar Association Jammu which is protesting against the shifting of High Court from Janipur to Raika in Bahu Conservation Reserve and transfer of land registration powers to Revenue Department.
JWAM leader also said that Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chander Murmu should call the agitating lawyers and resolve the issue.
He also demanded restoration of statehood and special status to Jammu, closure of Sarore Toll Plaza, rolling back of heavy fines under MV Act and with drawl of 9 per cent tax on vehicles.
Dimple claimed that BJP Government is responsible for shifting of High Court, Sarore Toll Plaza etc.
He alleged J&K BJP state leaders are “only paper tigers shedding crocodile tears”.
