JWAM takes out rally, demands free distribution of masks & sanitizers

JAMMU, Mar 11: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAS) today took out rally, demanded free distribution of masks, sanitizers and gloves to people.
President, Sunil Dimple along with large numbers of traders, prominent citizens led the protest rally and alleged that the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, Directorate of Health Services have failed to make adequate arrangement to meet the coronavirus challenges.
He also demanded to Lieutenant Governor to ban the private practice of the Government doctors to meet the virus’ challenges.
Addressing the rally, he said that the Jammu Kashmir Government should declare red alert and should make all the adequate arrangements to stop it from spreading in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the Traffic police, management of Toll Plaza, Ban and Sarore should distribute free of cost masks, sanitizers and gloves to every commuter as both the Plazas collect heavy toll tax at their respective places while the Traffic police has collected Rs one crore by establishing nakas at various locations in just one week from the people.
He also demanded the Government to start 24 hours OPD in GMC Jammu and others Government hospitals for the coronavirus patients so that they get round the clock check-up.
Other prominent leaders present during the protest were Chaman Pawar, CL Sher, Dev Raj, Vipan Mahjan, Mukesh Mahjan, Kala Kumar, Naresh Sharma, Jetinder Gupta, Vinit Gupta, Ram Kumar Das, Sadam Hussain and Akbar Khan.
