JWAM threatens of agitation if ration supply not restored

JAMMU, Dec 8: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today threatened to launch a State wide agitation against CAPD Ministry if kerosene oil, sugar and ration supplies are not restored in next 72 hours.
Addressing a meeting of JWAM activists, their president, Sunil Dimple, said that almost all the ration depots in the State are dry for last three months. There is no atta and sugar while kerosene oil has also not been provided for last six months. He alleged the Government ration is being openly black marketed by the CAPD officials and demanded inquiry into the matter.
He also launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti against rising prices of the essential commodities in the State and country and total failure in controlling the price of LPG, which has reached to Rs 800 per cylinder.
Dimple served 72 hours ultimatum to the CAPD Minister Zulfkar Ali and the Directorate of CAPD to restore supply of kerosene oil and ration in Jammu city and control the prices of essential commodities.
