JWM asks RRC to constitute Nodal Cell for disposal of cases

JAMMU, Nov 16: Jagti Welfare Movement (JWM) has expressed grave concern over throwing of citizen charter into dust bins which was issued by the Relief Organisation for earliest disposal of files of the migrants in relief zones as well as in head office.
In a statement issued by Sunil Pandita a representative of the Movement said as the usual files of migrants are languishing in offices for months together moving from one table to another table in Relief Organisation, with the result the migrants are facing many hardships as the authorities have failed to issue directives to lower staff for speedy disposal of files.
Pandita has appealed the Relief and Rehabilition Commissioner (RRC) to issue immediate directions for time bound disposal of all the long pending files, on different tables, so that the clients may heave a sigh of relief to have their usual files disposed and cases settled. Pandita also demanded that while the Relief Organisation issues instructions to the migrants for uploading their usual required files through online mode, but the files and cases requiring quick disposals get stuck on concerned tables for months together without assigning any reasons for unnecessary delay, thereby letting a client to face hardships on account of expected priority disposal.
The meeting appealed the RRCM and to constitute a Nodal Officers Cell for checking the speedy disposal of migrant files. The publishing of the contact Numbers of the Nodal Officer for easy approach by the migrants to know the fate of their pending files and for redressal of their grievances, Pandita said.
