JAMMU, Mar 15: Jammu Welfare Organization (JWO) has expressed grave concern over the chaos in distribution of ration by CAPD Department.
The Organization in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Kasturi Lal Gupta its president said that it is a matter of concert heat CAPD issues only two bags of flour to one family irrespective of its strength. He said that less ration and sugar is supplied by the Department to the people in Jammu city and rural areas.
He said even till date no ration has been supplied to the consumers by CAPD. He warned agitation in case the Department will not settle the problem and supply ration as per standing rules and norms. He appealed the Government to investigate the matter and ensure that the ration is supplied to the consumers on routine basis.
He said the administration is insensitive to this sensitive issue and this way the profiteers and black marketers are being benefited.
