JAMMU, May 21: A Meeting of All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha, was today convened in the premises of Sad Guru Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah which was attended by all the office bearers of Central Executive Body. District presidents of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Kishtwar, Rajouri and Ramban besides various block presidents were also present in the meeting.
After thorough discussion it was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Jayanti of Sad Guru Kabir Sahib will be celebrated on June 9, 2017 (Friday) at Chak-Avtara, Bishnah, wherein the spiritual discourse will be delivered by Baba Bhagwan Dass Ji, (Udhas Marg RS Pura) and Dina Nath Ji.
It was also decided that all the districts, block & mandir committees should be in order immediately after the main function as their tenure is over.
The President of the Sabha F C Bhagat requested the public at large and the Kabirpanthies to participate in the function and have the blessing of Shri Sad Guru Kabir. He also said that on this occasion few dignitaries of the Bhagat community from various states i.e Mansukh L Mandar (Minister of State) Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shipping, Roads, Transport & Highways, Government of India, Shambu Nath (Member Parliament) from Gujarat and Swami Margyasmit, social worker and Kabir follower from Gujarat will also be participating.
Among others who attended the meeting were Prof Gharu Ram, Ex-MLA, RS Pura, G R Bhagat (senior vice president), Prof Ashok Bhagat (vice-president), Dr Gurdass Ram (Chairman Litigation Committee), Pardeep Bhagat, (district president Jammu), Manohar Lal (general secretary) and others.
