JAMMU, May 8: A Meeting of All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha, was held today in the premises of Kabir Mandir, Janipur. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Sabha Mula Ram, ex-Minister and attended by all the office bearers of Central Executive Body, District Presidents and Block Presidents.
The main agenda of the meeting was to conduct general elections of the State Executive body. Acting President of the Sabha, F.C Bhagat pressed that elections as admissible under the constitution of the Sabha shall be held on time as the existing tenure is already over. He said that election shall be conducted at regular intervals for the smooth functioning and betterment of the community.
The meeting unanimously decided that Election Cell of the Sabha shall initiate the process i.e issuing notification, receiving nomination forms etc. & to conduct the election as per the norms of the constitution & the same shall be completed in all respects by May 29.
Among others who attended the meeting include G.R Bhagat, Girdhari Lal, Pardeep Kumar, Dev Raj, Babu Ram, Chaman Lal and all the District & Block presidents.
