Kaghote mishap: Body of girl retrieved, 3 others of family still missing

RAMNAGAR, July 23: Even as rescue teams today retrieved body of a minor girl, who along with her parents and two siblings, died in road mishap when their car fell in Kaghote Nallah on Tuesday, three persons of the family are still missing.
Wreckage of the Alto car, in which the family of five was travelling at the time of mishap, was also retrieved today from the flowing water in Nallah.
While wreckage of the car was found near the bridge, where the accident had probably taken place , body of the minor girl, namely Pooja Devi (8) was retrieved more than two kms downstream from the site of mishap.
As already reported, a young couple and their three minor children had died after the car, they were travelling in, fell in Kaghote Nallah, near Ramnagar on Tuesday. The matter came into light only yesterday when body of the man, identified as Mohan Lal, was found lying in the Nallah.
Deceased Mohan Lal (40), son of Bhagat Ram of village Jindrari, was accompanied by his wife Rekha Devi (30) and their three minor children namely Pooja Devi (8), Mukesh Bhagat (10) and Naksh Bhagat (3), when the mishap took place. The family was on way from Jandrore to Chenani, when the car slipped into Kaghote Nallah.
Even as Police team from Ramnagar, led by SHO Jaswinder Singh along with SDRF men and locals launched a massive operation for the second consecutive day today to locate all the missing bodies, no success was achieved except retrieving body of Pooja Devi, this afternoon.
Earlier, in the morning, wreckage of the car was taken out from the site of accident. According to Police, the operation would be resumed tomorrow morning for finding out the bodies of three missing persons of the family, who are also feared to have died in the mishap.
