Kailash Kund Yatra flagged off with religious fervor from Dudu

UDHAMPUR, Sept 2:   Three-day historical Kailash Kund Yatra alongwith Charri Mubarak was flagged off from Vasuki Nag Temple Dudu early this morning with traditional fervour and gaiety, jointly by MLA Chenani, KC Bhagat along with Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dudu Basantgarh, Mohd Anwar Bandy, who has played an instrumental role in re-inventing this old traditional route with support and cooperation of Management Committee of the Yatra.
Lot of enthusiasm and high spirits were visible on the faces of numerous pilgrims hailing not only from Dudu Basantgarh but also from Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar, who were constantly chanting bhajans and had queued up very early morning to become a part of this historical leg of Kailash Kund Yatra despite challenging weather conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM, Dudu-Basantgarh, said that I am personally monitoring water availability, stay arrangements, langer facilities right from Dudu to enroute and night halt point at Seoj Dhar, from time to time. Moreover, he disclosed that concerned Tehsildar and SDPO are personally moving along with yatries to ensure its smooth conduct this year.
The Kailash Kund Yatra along with historical Charri Mubarak was organized successfully in the past due to which the popularity and awareness about Dudu route gained huge momentum and a lot of public hailing from different parts of the State and even outside the State expressed willingness to join Kailash Kund Yatra this year from Vasuki Nag temple Dudu, a track which is bestowed with abundant natural beauty in the form of flowing water streams, adventurous and rocky treks, lush green huge meadows and thick cover of Deodar trees and dense forests.
