JAMMU, Aug 17: The Government holiday on account of ‘Kailash Yatra’ shall be observed on August 18 and 19, 2017 (Friday and Saturday), instead of August 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday).
A formal order in this regard was issued today by the General Administration Department.
“In partial modification of the Government order number 1345-GAD of 2016, the holiday on account of `Kailash Yatra’ shall be observed on August 18 and 19, 2017 (Friday and Saturday), instead of August 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday),” says the fresh order.
