Kalaunji, dry ginger rise on fresh buying

NEW DELHI, Oct 26:  Kalaunji and dry ginger prices rose up to Rs 300 per quintal in the national capital today owing to increased buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Fall in supplies from producing belts also supported the upside in prices.
Kalaunji prices rose by Rs 300 to conclude at Rs 8,000-9,000 per quintal.
Dry ginger prices also traded higher at Rs 17,000-19,000 against previous closing of Rs 16,800-18,800 per quintal.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up kalaunji and dry ginger prices on the wholesale kirana market here.
