Kalsotra accuses Govt of altering reservation policy

UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: A virtual meeting of Udhampur unit of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations was held here today under the chairmanship of R K Kalsotra while retired CEO Dina Nath presided over the meeting.
The participants said that the present Government has clear agenda to implement economical reservation instead of socially and educationally based reservation thus deliberately making new policies against OBCs, SCs and STs. Many OBC candidates who are selected in IAS are neglected because Government was not recruiting them because of creamy layer, they added.
Kalsotra informed that he attended a national virtual meeting on the issues of OBCs reservations raised by Dr Udit Raj, National Chairman All India Confederation of SC ST OBC Organisations, former National Chairman, National Commission OBC, Cabinet Minister of Delhi Govt, sitting MPs along with various participants from all walks of life.
Dina Nath appealed participants to own the responsibility at individual level to accelerate the social justice movement through virtual meetings.
