JAMMU, Mar 11: Kanakmandi Traders Association today accorded a warm reception to Devender Singh Rana, on his appointment as Provincial President of National Conference, Jammu and his unanimous election to the Legislative Council.
Hailing the dynamism of Mr. Rana the President of the Association Vijay Gupta pinned many hopes on him for infrastructural development of Jammu city, which he described as a proud heritage centre of north India and gateway to two important pilgrimages and tourism in Kashmir.
The Provincial President assured that he will strive for meeting the urges and aspirations of the people especially the business community as developing Jammu is a common agenda for us all.
The function was attended by the office bearers of the association a large number of businessmen of the Jammu city. The reception was part of Shivratri Mela, organized by the association.
Among others present on the occasion included Vijay Gupta, President Kanakmandi Traders Association, Dimple Aggarwal, General Secretary, Yashpal Gupta, President Retailers Association, Prithvi Raj Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Samiti Parkash Jain, Pawan Gupta, Om Parkash Kailoo, Subash Gupta and Bhishan Gupta.
