NEW DELHI, July 2: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section to Hyderabad and Kanpur rose by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following busy cargo movements amid tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said besides pick up in cargo movements, tight position of trucks, mainly pushed up freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Kanpur and Hyderabad freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 22,000 and Rs 58,000, respectively.
