SRINAGAR, Mar 27: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rohit Kansal today visited Pampore and reviewed the construction work of Government residential buildings meant for State Government employees.
Kansal was accompanied by Chief Engineer, R&B, Deputy Director Estates, Executive Engineer, Estates, SE R&B and other officials.
He inspected pace of work of nine blocks comprising of 144 flats. While inspecting various constructions works, Kansal directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of the vital project.
He was informed that the work is being executed in double shifts and the two blocks comprising 16 flats each will be completed by April end and the entire project will be completed by August 2018.
Later, Kansal visited the Civil Secretariat and inspected the face lifting works being executed by Estates Department. He directed the officials to complete the work at an earliest.
He also visited Alochibagh where the 93 kanals of State land under the possession of Sericulture is proposed for the transfer to Estates Department for the construction of residential quarters for the accommodation of State Government employees.
