JAMMU, Dec 25: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rohit Kansal today took stock of Government residential infrastructure at Muthi, Sarwal, New BC Road and Old BC Road and reviewed progress on proposed as well as ongoing construction works.
He also visited proposed site for construction of Additional Block at Civil Secretariat to be constructed at an estimate cost of Rs 53 crore, for which, works are scheduled to be initiated soon.
While inspecting various constructions works, Kansal directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of ongoing projects.
He inspected ongoing works on the 32 flats being constructed at Muthi. Besides, he also visited Roopnagar Muthi quarters and discussed the proposed construction of 28 new flats in the premises. For this, he directed the concerned to complete all formalities like e-tendering, etc at the earliest and start construction works within a month’s time.
Kansal also visited Sarwal quarters and took stock of progress made with regards to construction of new flats. The foundation of this project was laid by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. He directed the executing agency to complete works by October 1, 2018. He also took stock of the 12 one BHK flats at Old BC road, the project which is nearing completion.
Principal Secretary was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, Chief Engineer PWD Sudhir Shah, MD JKPCC Naeem Ahmad, Deputy Director Estates Satish Sharma, Executive Engineer Estate M. R. Sharma, President Non Gazatted Civil Secretariat Union Ghulam Rasool and other senior officers of concerned department.
