JAMMU, Feb 1: The State Government today assigned additional charge to two IAS officers and also ordered transfers and postings of six KAS officers with immediate effect.
Rohit Kansal, Commissioner Secretary Public Works (R&B) Department, shall hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, in addition to his own duties till further order while Shailendra Kumar, Commissioner Secretary Industries and Commerce Department, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Science and Technology Department.
Meanwhile, according to a separate order, Mohammad Hussain, Special Secretary Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi while Gulzar Ahmad Dar, Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary Tourism Department.
Khalid Jehangir, Secretary to the Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha, has been recalled from deputation and posted as Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi. He shall hold the charge of the post of Deputy Resident Commissioner, Mumbai, besides supervising JK House Amritsar and Chandigarh, in addition to his duties.
Abdul Hamid, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary Transport Department while Haris Ahmad Handoo, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Additional Secretary GAD.
