Kanse College starts degree course in Animation, VFX, Gaming

JAMMU, June 13: Kanse College of Digital Arts, started under graduate degree course in Animation, VFX and Gaming from this academic session.
While speaking, Divya Seengal, member Governing Council, Kanse College of Digital Arts, said that with cut throat competition in every field, they emphasize on providing the best practical knowledge to the students through their participation in live projects and this practice gives an opportunity to the student in building their portfolio for better career ahead.
Adding about job opportunities and career prospects, Divya Seengal, said college will ensure guaranteed placements to 50 per cent of the pass-outs who have performed exceptionally well academically.
During the course, as a part of the curriculum, the College will organize programmes with visiting faculty where the students will get a chance to directly interact with renowned Academy Award, Global Awards winners and other nominated film personalities, she added.
“Students will get an opportunity to visit various national and international studios and film festivals”, she said, adding, that this exposure would help them in understanding the latest trends in the Animation, VFX and Gaming industry.
Seengal added that the college will also select short films made by the students and send them for competing into various award categories at the International Film Festivals.
