JAMMU, Dec 2: Kanta Bhat, wife of Martyr Pt Prem Nath Bhat a veteran leader and social activist breathed her last today at her Roop Nagar residence after a brief illness. She was 90.
Kanta Bhat a social activist and a noble lady has worked shoulder to shoulder with her husband in various social activities and she upheld her husband’s legacy with great dedication.
She is survived by two sons advocate Kashmiri Lal and Advocate Kumar and daughter Veena Bhat.
Her cremation will take place tomorrow at 1 pm at Bantalab Cremation Ground. After listening the news about her demise, a large number of people from all walks of life thronged her residence to express their grief.
