SRINAGAR, Sept 2: Dr. Karan Singh, Member Parliament and former Union Minister, met Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Vohra and Dr. Singh discussed issues relating to the prevailing unrest and the steps, which were required to be taken for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
Meanwhile, Archana Ramasundram, DG Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and DG Civil Defence also met the Governor today.
She briefed the Governor about the SSB’s deployment and internal security duties in the Valley.
The Governor and the DG also discussed issues relating to security management and the need to strengthen Civil Defence in the State.
