Kargil, Jan 3: The people of Kargil district came out on streets after Friday prayers and protested against the killing of General Qasim Soleimani, the highest ranking general in the Iranian Military and responsible for shaping Iran’s foreign policy throughout the middle east and Abu Mahanadi.

The main protest was organized by Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh which started under the leadership of Markazi Imam Jumma Sheikh Hassan Waizi from campus of Hozia Illmiya Kargil and after passing through various places culminated at Islamia School Chwok Kargil.
The protesters and speakers while raising slogans against American, Israel and the Zionism, condemned the killing of Iranian General and paid their solidarity with the Iranain Government, particularly supreme leader of Iran, Ayatullah Syed Ali Khamnie.
The speakers, while referring towards Soleimani’s contribution in wiping out ISIS from Syria and Iraq, said that it was an act of terrorism itself by targeting the man behind the defeat of ISIS and those responsible for killing Soleimani are themselves the greatest terrorists of the era.
Likewise, such protests held at Sankoo, Tai Suru, Pashkum, Drass and Chiktan.
