JAMMU, Sept 30: The porters who helped army during Kargil war have demanded Government jobs.
In a protest demonstration here today leader of these porters, Romesh Kumar said after the Kargil war they were promised a Government job for helping the army but same has not been provided to them till date.
He further said that while the militants are being provided government jobs why they are neglected even though they helped the nation.
He also said that their agitation will be intensified if the authorities concerned failed to fulfil their demand of Government job.
