AICC frames various Committees for J&K

JAMMU, Oct 20: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president, Mallikarjun Kharge today approved the proposal for the constitution of the Political Affairs Committee, Pradesh Election Committee, Pradesh Campaign Committee, Disciplinary Action Committee, Coordination Committee, Manifesto Committee and Publicity & Publication Committee for Jammu & Kashmir.
Senior party leader and former Minister Tariq Hameed Karra has been appointed as Chairman of Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the JKPCC. The other members of the Committee are- Prof Saifudddin Soz, Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Tara Chand, Mula Ram, Khemlata Wakhloo, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Yogesh Sawhney, Thakur Balwan Singh and Mohd Anwar Bhat. AICC In-charge, PCC president and working president will be the permanent invitees to the PAC
JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani has been appointed as Chairman of the Pradesh Election Committee (PEC), while other members of the Committee are- working president Raman Bhalla, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Tara Chand, Mula Ram, Jehangir Mir, Vinod Sharma, Gurmeet Singh, Shabir Ahmad Khan, Ravinder Sharma, Thakur Balbir Singh, Indu Pawar, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Karan Bhagat, Yogesh Sawhney, Thakur Manmohan Singh, Shahnawaz Chowdhary, Thakur Balwan Singh, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Neeraj Kundan, Pranav Shagotra, Udhay Bhanu Chib, Pyara Lal Shan and Arshid Ahmad Tantray.
Former Dy Chief Minister Tara Chand has been appointed as Chairman of the Pradesh Campaign Committee while other members of the panel are-Tariq Hameed Karra, Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Jehangir Mir, Thakur Balwan Singh, Tarlok Singh Bajwa, Shabir Ahmad Khan, Th Balbir Singh, Naresh K Gupta, Ashok Dogra, Rajnish Sharma (Mian), Shahnawaz Chowdhary, Pranav Shagotra, Udhay Bhanu Chib, Fairoz Khan, Neeraj Kundan, Surinder Singh Channi, Nadeem Sharief Niaz, Anayatullah Rather and Naresh Sharma (Neshu). PCC president and working president will be the permanent invitees to this Committee.
JKPCC senior vice president and former MLC, Ghulam Nabi Monga has been appointed as Chairman of Disciplinary Action Committee while other members of the Committee are – Ravinder Sharma, Thakur Balbir Singh, Indu Pawar, Adv Shah Mohd Chowdhary, Adv Mohinder Bhardwaj, Shashi Sharma, Yashpal Kundal and Fayaz Ahmad Dar.
State Coordination Committee comprises Peerzada Mohd Sayeed as its Chairman while other members are- Bashir Ahmad Magray, Raman Mattoo, Kanta Bhan, Abdul Gani Khan, Dina Nath Bhagat, Thakur Balwan Singh, Ved Mahajan, Tarlok Singh Bajwa, Rajnish Sharma (Mian), Rakesh Wazir, Narinder Gupta and TS Tony. PCC president and working president will be the permanent invitees to the Committee.
Manifesto Committee comprises Prof Saifuddin Soz as its Chairman while other members are Adv MK Bhardwaj, Ravinder Sharma, Zahida Khan, Shameema Raina, Iftikhar Ahmad, Nissar Ahmad Mundoo, Gulsher Khan and Firdous Ahmad Wani.
Publicity and Publication Committee includes senior vice president of JKPCC and former minister Mula Ram as its Chairman, while SS Channi, Dr Rashid Chowdhary, Satish Sharma, Kadfeen Chowdhary, Parveen Sarwar, Waseem Ahmad Shalla, Sumeet Mangotra, Sahil Farooq and Farooq Ahmad Bhat as members.
