JAMMU, May 11: Government today reinstated a suspended KAS officer and accordingly posted him in Planning, Development and Monitoring Department as Deputy Secretary.
“Sonu Pargal, the then Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Udhampur, placed under suspension vide Government Order Number 153-GAD of 2019 dated 30-01-2019 and attached in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, is hereby reinstated with immediate effect,” said an order issued today by the Government.
According to the order, the period of the suspension of the Officer shall be decided after conclusion of the criminal proceedings pending against him in the Court of Law. The order further reads that consequent upon his reinstatement, Sonu Pargal, is posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department.
Meanwhile, issuing another order, Government has assigned the charge of the post of Collector, Land Acquisition, Northern Railway, Srinagar, to Raeis Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Srinagar, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
