JAMMU, Oct 14: Kashmir based Assistant Prof. Dr. Shahid Amin, working at ITM University Gwalior has been awarded ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Samman-2019’ at Dr. Ambedkar Auditorium, Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi.
Dr Amin hails from Tral in Pulwama.
The national and international awards were given for outstanding social service activities at an International Youth Conference organized by International Youth Society and National Youth Awardees Federation of India.
The event marked the presence of eminent dignitaries including Dr. S.N Subarao, Founder of National Youth Project India; Acharya Guru Karma Tanpai, well known as International Peace Guru; Manohar Jala, Chairman National Safai Karamchari Aayog and Shefali Sood, Miss India Diva Supranational-2019.
A handout stated that delegates and awardees have joined this event from 18 countries including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Tibet, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Mauritius etc.
Some wonderful sessions were also organized in the conference thrusting on youth to promote sustainable development and universal peace.
