SDS organises lecture on Accession Day

JAMMU, Oct 25: A lecture was organised by Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS) president, Parshotam Dadichi at Geeta Bhawan here today on Accession Day. The prominent people of the J&K participated in the programme.
Daya Sagar a well known writer was the chief speaker. The former president Bar Association Jammu, Abhinav Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that the Central Government led by Narendra Modi took a historic decision by annulling Article 370 and 35 –a which will help in promotion of peace and lead to development in J&K.
Abhinav Sharma said that under the garb of 370 which was a temporary provision in the Indian Constitution, the Kashmir centric leaders besides subjecting Jammu region to discrimination misled the Kashmiris about the Article so that they can promote unrest in the Valley for their vested interests.
Daya Sagar, while speaking on the subject said that on October 26 in 1947 the then Maharaja of the undivided J&K State, Maharaja Hari Singh signed the Instrument of Accession with Indian Union but Kashmir centric leaders misled the people of Valley about the same for their own vested interests.
He said on the name of accession rumors and canards were floated in the society to mislead the people so that the Kashmir centric leaders can take its full advantage.
Abhinav Sharma said that they were celebrating the Accession Day even before the annulling of Article 370 but those who had not accepted it earlier had now to accept the reality. The J&K had become integral part of India on October 26 in 1947 but under a conspiracy it was not being accepted by the politicians having vested interests.
Sharma said now with the development in J&K there will be justice with Jammu region also.
While, proposing the vote of thanks Parshotam Dadichi said Sanatan Dharam Sabha with organising such lectures truth can be brought before the people. He said there will be no discrimination with Jammu now and it is the duty of all to educate the people and work for development, peace and progress of J&K.
On the occasion general secretary of the Sabha, Prabhat Singh, secretaries, Pawan Badu and Dilip Gupta and others were present.
