JKAP holds public outreach prog

JAMMU, Feb 14: Apni Party today organized leaders and workers meet of Kashmiri displaced community in Ward No. 32 Trilokpur here in which besides former minister and senior leader Apni Party Mohd Dilawar Mir, general secretary Vijay Bakaya participated as chief guests.
The programme was coordinated and organized by State Morcha Apni Party leaders Vinod Pandita, Sanjay Dhar, Vishal Jotshi and Vaibhav Mattoo.
Dilawar Mir while speaking on the occasion stated that Kashmiri Pandits are part and parcel of Kashmiryat and without them Kashmir is incomplete. Mir said he was aware of the problems being faced by the community in exile and assured them that Apni Party would take up their problems with Government of India and Lt Governor of J&K for redressal.
He said that the migration of Kashmiri Pandits was a big tragedy and the Kashmiri Muslims who lived in harmony with them miss them and yearn for the day they return and live with them as before. He further said that their role in the present political scenario of J&K is very important. Mir also welcomed those who joined Apni party today.
Vijay Bakaya while thanking the audience for having spared time to meet with the senior functionaries of the Apni Party, told them that the time has come for the community to assert itself politically by supporting the Apni Party which was the only party which was working towards reducing the trust deficit that existed between the people of Kashmir and the Govt of India which listened to leaders of the Apni Party headed by Altaf Bukhari and had addressed many issues brought to its notice.
Vinod Pandita, Sanjay Dhar and Dazy Dhar highlighted the genuine problems of Kashmiri Pandit migrants living in exile for last more than thirty years like enhancement of monthly cash assistance, one job per family, political reservation in the new political scenario to remove decades old discrimination, construction of addition accommodation for PM package employees working in Valley, updation and rectification of voter lists, rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back in valley with honour.
