Kashmir Panthers Council discusses important issues

JAMMU, Oct 14: An emergency meeting of the Kashmir Panthers Council was held this afternoon in Srinagar at JKNPP headquarters, Rajbagh to discuss important issues regarding the security of the Kashmir based office bearers who have been completely deprived of security cover in the Valley by the Government.
The meeting, among others was attended by several senior state office bearers.  Masood Andrabi, Sr vice-president presided over the meeting, while Prof Bhim Singh was the chief guest and Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah, MLC was the guest of honour.
The meeting was attended by general secretary, Manzoor Naik, provincial president, Farooq Dar, State secretary, Maqbool Malik and Mehboob Allahi.  Among the District presidents who attended the meeting were Ali Mohd Dar, (Baramulla), Mohd Yusuf Wani (Budgam), Abdul Rashid Gani (Ganderbal) and Office secretary M S Wani.
The Panthers leaders also regretted that the Panthers Legislators have failed to convene any Panthers party meeting during the Assembly Session in Srinagar.  The Panthers party workers were feeling isolated and neglected.
While accusing the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for invoking PSA against the Kashmiri youth only as vengeance and political, Prof Bhim Singh assured the Kashmir Panthers Council full support and political backup in the coming days.
