Kashmir turmoil

Sir,
This has reference to the editorial  titled ‘Another joke with Pandits (DE 25-9-2017). It deserves appreciation for repeating the  oft-repeated tale of miseries misfortunes and continued psychological trauma being experienced by Pandits for a very long time now as a result of having been driven out alas! by their Muslim brethren of Kashmir. We have observed time and again through the columns of this paper, that the separatists will never allow Pandits to be settled at any place in Kashmir, because such an arrangement will defeat their very purpose of having cleansed settled at any place in Kashmir, because such an arrangement will defeat their very purpose of having cleansed the valley of these ‘Kafirs’ for paving a smooth path for their ultimate aim of  Islamisation of the State.
The writer has rightly observed that the design of throwing out the Pandits from their ancestral land has cost very dearly the separatists and their movement. This fact they will realise someday or the other.
These separatists have    made hypocritical suggestions that the Pandits are welcome to live with the majority community as they lived before, scattered here and there. They made such overtures for public consumption in India and abroad. They know that any such offers will be spurned by the Pandits because the latter have already burnt their fingers in such a togetherness.
The editorial has again rightly pointed out that the centrtal and the State Govt have been  ruefully, dragging their feet from any plan of Pandits’ rehabilitation in the Valley, for different reasons. As things stand, it appears that the problem of Pandits’ resettlement or rehabilitation in the valley seems to have, but has not, assumed interactable proportions. The prolonged struggle by the Pandits to get back to their roots will sooner than later, produce the desired fruit. The editorial  mentioned above, is really encouraging and appreciable  as it has sincerely and with feelings, backed up forcefully the cause of the Kashmiri Pandits living in exile.
Yours etc….
