JAMMU, Nov 20: The dead body of a business man from Kashmir was found hanging in Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as 46-year-old Manzoor Wani son of Ghulam Qadir Wani, resident of Gulzarpora (Pulwama),” Police sources said. They said the body of the man was found hanging from a tree with the help of a scarf (dupatta) at Bagh-e-Bahu near Balidan Stambh, late last night.
Sources said it came to light from a diary found from the body that the deceased, who was a business man, was over burdened in debt, which prompted him to take this extreme step.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his family after conducting postmortem while Bagh-e-Bahu Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
