Kashmiri migrants call on Gul

JAMMU, Dec 19: A delegation of All J&K Kashmiri Migrant Association led by its President M.L. Munshi, Ex-MLC, Bushan Lal today called upon Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul and apprised him of their problems and demands.
The deputation demanded enhancement in cash assistance Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 in favour of the Kashmiri migrants besides seeking redressal to other issues.
Gul told the Association that their demands are being considered by the Government sympathetically and processed accordingly at the concerned forum for necessary approval.
Highlighting the measures being put in place for welfare of Kashmiri migrants, Gul said that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, is fully concerned and keen in mitigating their problems. He appealed the association to extend their complete cooperation to the Government for redressal of all their issues.
Among others MLC, Vijay Bakaya, Ex-MLC Bushan Lal Bhat, vice president Muslim Migrants Cell, Qazi Jalalu Din, M.L. Munshi and Ramesh Pandita also accompanied the delegation.
