Kashmiri migrants call on Zonal Head J&K Bank

JAMMU, Mar 22: A deputation of Kashmiri  migrants  under banner of KKHMS and DKUYU led by its Chairman and president Er Ramesh Chander  Mahajan  called  on  Zonal Head  Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd Rail  head office Jammu in his  office  and apprised of the problems being faced by  migrants.
The deputation submitted a memorandum  today  containing charter of various  demands  which were discussed threadbare.
The Kashmiri migrants demanded to organise the enrolment campaign in all J&K Bank Ltd  branches nearest to migrants camps (Jagti Camp, Nagrota Camp, Pukhoo Camp, Muthi Camp )  and  non migrant camps (Ban Talab, Durga Nagar, Bohri and Janipur ) premises of  other area of  Jammu  region  for  their  enrolments of eligible and  new souls, correction including  addition  and alteration and issuance  of Aadhaar cards  for time being  to facilitate the displaced people so as to  complete the  process who have not yet enrolled their names along with residential details  in the Aadhaar.
It also  demanded extension of date of March 31, 2018  a deadline  for  linking of Aadhaar with the various  service , welfare scheme and bank account to avoid any inconvenience and hardship to displaced Kashmiri people. Besides it demanded launching of Aadhaar campaign for the interest of public .
The   Zonal Head J&K Bank assured  that their demands will be redressed  shortly before the closing date of link of Aadhaar card and enrolment process of newly  Aadhaar  cards will be  launched  in  J&K Bank Ltd branches  also will be consider the extension of  date of deadline is mandatory for linked of  Aadhaar card.
