Kashmiri play ‘Aknandun’ staged

JAMMU, June 4: A programme was organized by Susheel Bhat under the supervision of Vijay Raina, president J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society in which Kashmiri play ‘Aknandun’ was staged.
The play revolves around a king who is true devotee of Shiva and the queen worships Shiva for heir.
Yogi in the play is Shiva’s incarnation.
On this occasion Bharat Challu, Kashmiri activists was chief guest while Naveen Challu and M.L Dogra were guests of honour and Rakesh Koul, Anita Chandpuri, Dileep Pandita, Anil Bhan and Deepak were special guests.
Artists who performed in the play were Jatinder Jotshi, Vinay Pandita, Dazy Bazaz, Rahul Pandita, Sumeeta Bhat, Ajay Waguzari, Ramesh Pandita, Shoki Lidhoo, Vimi Raina, Ishant Hangloo, Neetu Dhar, Arvind Koul, Ravi Dhar and Master Vidyuth Raina.
Makeup was done by Pintu Bhat and Costumes by Shoki Lidhoo.
The chief guest presented momentous to all the participants of the play and he along with all other dignitaries were felicitated by the team J&K Bhoomi.
Sound of the play was given by Vishal Raina and Tara, Lights by Ramesh Pandita and Lokesh, Music by Rajesh Khar, the set was designed by Vir Sumbly, Hall Management was done by Kamal Saagar, Singers were Sumeeta Bhat, Arvind Koul and Dazy Bazaz.
The play was written by J.K Koul and directed by Jatinder Jotshi.
