JAMMU, Apr 7: Chairman J&K Pradesh Congress Committee OBC Cell for former member State Commission for Backward Classes M L Kashyap today met the PCC chief Prof Saif-ud-din Soz and submitted a charter of demands.
Mr Kashyap also congratulated Prof Soz for his re-appointment as PCC president and hoped that he will provide justice to the members of OBC community. In the demands projected before PCC chief Mr Kashyap stressed for proper political representation to the members of the community beside all other levels, enhancement of reservation quota from 2 % to atleast 10 % against the demand of 27 %, change of nomenclature from OSC, SLC to OBC and enhancement of creamy layer on Central pattern.
