LONDON, Sept 24: Actress Kate Winslet says she was bullied at school for being overweight.
The 40-year-old star said she got the revenge on her bullies by living a happy life, Female First.
“I was kind of bullied when I was younger, actually at school. For being chubby, you know, I had girls who were envious of me because I was acting a little bit as a teenager,” Winslet said.
“This (being happy) is my revenge. Right here, this lovely career I have been blessed with. I have healthy children. You know, I have a really happy life and, to me, it’s like, ‘Well, look at me now girls!'” she added.
The actress will next be seen in “The Dressmaker,” which also stars Liam Hemsworth. (PTI)
