Kathua admn gives PRCs at doorsteps of people

KATHUA, Nov 26: The District Administration Kathua headed by District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar  has initiated a number of steps to make  the administration more  responsive, accountable and people – friendly.
As a part of these initiatives, the administration today presented Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs) to the residents of eighteen villages falling in Block Barnoti in a function held at BDO Office Barnoti. These PRCs were presented by Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua.
Three hundred PRCs were presented to residents of  Rakh Lachipura, Budhi, Mearth, Nanan, Barwal, Uttri, Forlain West, Borthain, Sumwan Flote, Nankay Chak, Changran, Mai Chak, Palli, Trehara, Nehalpur, Nagrota and  Padyari  by the ADC who was accompanied by concerned Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaries. The former Sarpanches, Panches, Numberdars & Chowkidars of these villages were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier such camps were organized at Nagri, Uttri and at Naib Tehsildar Office, Barnoti.
