JAMMU, July 17: Kathua District Administration today rebutted a news report published in section of newspapers regarding functioning of 25 stone crushers closed on 6th of July this year.
The operation of all the closed stone crushers has been immediately stopped on portal of Geology and Mining Department on same day and since then even single challan has not been prepared by crusher units.
As per the survey of Mining Department, some stone crushers have removed their machinery at their own but for others who have not removed their structures, stern action is being taken by district administration shortly.
As per the rule, everyone should be given chance to correct mistake at his or her own and district administration has only done this and gave them an opportunity to remove structures at their own.
