KATHUA, Dec 27: An encroachment from Gair Mumkin pond in village Qasba and Patyari Brahmana of tehsil Hiranagar bearing Khasra No.60 has been removed by team of officers led by Tehsildar Hiranagar and police on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria today.
According to DC Kathua total area encroached was three kanals and seven marlas which was encroached by three persons namely Amit Kumar, Ashutosh Kumar ,Bhashamber Dass. He said the total area of pond having 23kanals and two Marla was retrieved as the encroachers had influence on entire land of the pond.
