KATHUA, Sept 10: Following strict action against illegal mining, Kathua police in coordination with Pathankot police, has launched a joint operation to stop the illegal movement of vehicles on the clandestine passages between Kathua and Pathankot by unearthing and dismantling of such passages from both sides.
Strict Nakas/checkpoints have been set up on the roads to ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly checked. Kathua police and Pathankot police assured that strict action will be taken against those who are involved in illegal mining activities in areas of Kathua -Pathankot corridor. The joint operation will continue until the illegal mining is completely eradicated.
