KATHUA, June 21: Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal has arrested one accused who was on the run in a theft case and was evading his arrest for the last eight years.
Police said as he was wanted in a case FIR No. 138/2006 U/S 379/RPC by the Police Station (PS) Kathua. On specific information, a police team led by Inspector, Rajesh Kumar incharge Police Post (PP) Nagri under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Kathua, Shammi Kumar- today apprehended the accused namely Alam Din, son of Ali Hussain of Saidpur at present Keeriyan Gandyal tehsil and district Kathua near Khokhayal, Kathua and further investigation into this matter has been initiated.
