KATHUA, May 11: District Police Kathua under the supervision of Shivdeep Singh Jamwal- SSP has started a special drive to arrest long pending absconders. Today Police Station Kathua has arrested an absconder namely Balbir Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Ward No. 16, Shiva Nagar Kathua. The accused was absconding since 1996 and was evading arrest whereas the authorities have been searching for the defendant.
Police said today a team led by Inspector, Sudhir Sadhotra, SHO PS Kathua under the guidance of DySP Headquarters, Kathua, Manjeet Singh located and arrested Balbir Singh son of Pritam Singh of Ward No. 16 Shiva Nagar Kathua and produced him before the Court of CJM Kathua.
