KATHUA, July 10: Kathua police has recovered one minor girl who was kidnapped recently. Her kidnapper was also arrested.
Police said an information in written was received on July 4 at Police Station (PS), Rajbagh by one Rakesh Lal of Hariachak tehsil, Marheen that his minor daughter has been missing since morning. After receiving the information, a case FIR No. 181/2023, U/S 363 IPC was registered at
PS Rajbagh and an investigation was set into motion. After the strenuous efforts of the police team headed by SI, Acchru Badyal under the guidance of SHO, PS Rajbagh Inspector, Tariq Ahmed SHO, PS Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO Border, Dheeraj Singh Katoch and on the overall directions of SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh managed to recover the girl from Mathura, UP from the possession of one Puneet Kumar, son of Bhima Ram of Sarai Rohilla New Delhi .
The accused person has also been taken into custody and the victim has been handed over to parents after completing legal formalities. Further the investigation is going on.
