KATHUA Oct 5: Kathua Police rescued a Kashmir based minor girl aged about 17 years who was kidnapped by the accused.
Incident took place in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Rainawari, Srinagar in which the accused namely Sajad Ahmad Kandoo S/o Ghulam Mohidin Kandoo R/o Shanpora, Habak Srinagar kidnapped the victim. Police Station Rainawari has already registered a kidnapping case FIR No. 76/2018 US 363 RPC against the accused.
Kathua Police after receiving the information about the incident activated special check points. The accused, who was trying to escape from the State, was apprehended by PS Lakhanpur in determined action to save the kidnapped minor girl.
Accordingly Police Station, Rainawari was informed to hand over the minor girl after completing all legal formalities.
