KATHUA, Apr 25: Continuing its action against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police have seized five more vehicles indulged in illegal mining.
A team of Police Station (PS), Bani under the supervision of SHO Inspector, Shahnawaz Giri in its jurisdictional area found three dumpers and two tippers were indulged in illegal mining and were being used for transportation of construction material. All of these five vehicles were handed over to the officials of Mining Department Kathua for further legal course of action.
The drive against the illegal mining in district was launched under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal.
