KATHUA, May 12: Kathua police seized five vehicles including two Dumpers and three Tractor trolleys along with one Excavator indulged in illegal transportation of construction material at Tarnah Nallah in the jurisdiction of Police Post (PP) Chadwal and Ratan Chak Bellia Tarnah Nallah area of Police Station (PS) Hiranagar.
Police said today a team headed by PSI, Neeraj Parihar in charge PP Chadwal under the supervision of SDPO Border, Dheeraj Singh Katoch during patrolling in its jurisdictional area at Tarnah Nallah Chadwal area seized two Dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK08K-9688 and JK08F-1618 along with one Excavator Machine indulged in illegal mining and transportation
of construction material without any legal permission. The police team was led by Inspector, Amit Sangra, SHO, PS Hiranagar which seized three Tractors along with Trolleys indulged in illegal transportation of construction material from Rattan Chak Bellia Tarnah Nallah. Meanwhile all the five vehicles along with one Excavator indulged in illegal mining were seized and immediately handed over to the officials of the Geology and Mining Department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
