Kathua, Udhampur stations get Vande Bharat stoppage

JAMMU, Jan 30: The Ministry of Railways has ordered regular daily stoppage of Vande Bharat Express Trains at Kathua and Udhampur Railway Stations.
An assurance in this regard was given to locals by the Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, who represents Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha.
As per the order, the Railway Ministry has directed the Northern Railway that the stoppage of 22477/22478 be provided at both the stations with effect from early convenient date and ensure the compliance.
Sharing the order in this regard, Dr Jitendra Singh has posted on X, “Congratulations #Udhampur, Congratulations#Kathua. Orders issued for #VandeBharat Express Train to have regular daily stoppage at both the stations, as promised during my interaction with the local people during the ceremonial run on 30th December.”
The Union Minister has also thanked PM Modi for giving Katra Vaishno Devi-New Delhi route the gift of not one but two Vande Bharat Trains.
