LONDON, Mar 24: Pop star Katy Perry and singer John Mayer reportedly broke up because they were getting too serious.
This isn’t the first time that Mayer, 35, and Perry, 28, have taken a break from one another. They briefly split in August of 2012 before getting back together the next month, reported Femalefirst online.
“Introducing her to his dad was a big deal. It was just too much, too soon. They’ve also been fighting recently,” a source said.
However, the duo’s friends are unsure if the split will be permanent.
“It’s hard to tell. She’s changed a lot since she’s been with him,” the source added. (PTI)
