JAMMU, May 16: Councilor Mattan and district vice president BJP Anantnag, Rakesh Kaul has warned those people who are playing in the hands of some vested elements and separatists and trying to set a wrong narrative about the Kashmir Files which a true picture of Pandits genocide.
In a statement issued here, today he said that the Kashmir Files reflects the pain and agony of the community which faced genocide 32 years back and for whom doors of return to their homes and hearts in Valley have been closed.
He said the community is fully behind the Kashmir Files Director and team which dared to highlight their plight and trauma faced by them. Kaul warned those who are playing in the hands of some vested elements and trying to create a narrative about the picture that suits the separatist elements and Pakistan. He said by negating the pain and trauma suffered by the community after justifying that the members of other community were also killed has no logic or justification.
Instead of State acting against the marauders and terrorists responsible for genocide a different narrative was set over 32 years to exonerate them, he said, adding it is unfortunate that some vested elements within the community whose number is negligible are also dancing to the tune of the separatists and anti national elements. He asked them to desist from such statements and not to harm the cause of community.
