NEW DELHI, June 1: Actor and stand-up comedian Kavi Shastri, who has been part of films like ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Aurangzeb’, says he wants to star in a romantic movie next.
“I had a great time working on the films that I have been part of, be it ‘Love Aaj Kal’ or ‘Aurangzeb’. My career as an actor has shaped up all by chance and I hope to do a romantic movie by next year. Other than acting I am also interested in dancing. I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson,” Shastri told PTI.
The actor has also acted in TV serials like ‘Rishta.Com’ and ‘Kismat’.
Shastri, who jointly owns a company WeirdAss Comedy along with fellow stand-up comedian-actor Vir Das, is seen hosting a show ‘Love By Chance’ on Bindaas channel.
“Unlike other youth-oriented shows aired on various channels which focuses on the darker side of love and relationships, this show talks about the positive side of love,” he said.
The actor hopes that the audience, who have appreciated his comic timing, will like the show.
“Unlike other shows which carry a lot of baggage, this show is a rom-com and people would love to watch,” Shastri said.
Shastri says he is not sure about his future projects and is planning to go on a holiday post the show. (PTI)
