Kavinder addresses series of election meetings in Gurdaspur

GURDASPUR, (Punjab) Feb 9: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister J&K, Kavinder Gupta today held series of public meetings in rural pockets of Gurdaspur garnering support for the local BJP candidate.
Addressing the election rallies wherein impressive gatherings spoke louder than words about the BJP wave, the BJP leader said that people should not miss the chance to install double-engine Government in Punjab by giving absolute majority to BJP as earlier the funds given to the State have been cleverly siphoned by those steering the Congress Government leaving the people in lurch for even the mere basic facilities. He said that by supporting the BJP candidature the people will support women empowerment, seamless development, end of drug menace, justice to all without any discrimination on the base of colour, caste or creed.
The villages where the BJP senior functionary held public meetings included Purowal Aryaan, Kamalpur Afgana, Bhoper, Tatley, Shekhupur, Hardochanni, Kot Mohan Lal and Amipur.
Criticizing the Akali Dal for relying on dynastic politics, he said that BJP will end the family oriented politics in Punjab in general and Gurdaspur in particular and ensure fair deal to one and all.
Hitting hard at the Congress regime, Kavinder said that incumbents deprived the people of Punjab from enjoying the benefits of Central Government schemes like the Ayushman Bharat. Alleging that crores of rupees given by the Central Government have been usurped by the people sitting at the helm in Punjab giving no benefit to the genuine beneficiaries for whom the money was dispatched. He said to end the anti-people circumstances from the Punjab State the people should repose faith in BJP candidates and give the party the mandate to steer the region out of morass created by the Congress.
The senior BJP leader said that it is unfortunate that the free ration given by the Modi Government to the entire nation but the same has not been disbursed among the beneficiaries in Punjab just because callous policies of the Congress Government.  He said to bail out people of Punjab from the scourge of drug menace the BJP has failsafe plan but to execute the same, the party needs people’s support.
